Whew!!  That's a LOT of candy!

I'm really grateful for Josiah...  he's a great helper!

 

 

So, we're all stocked up now and ready to provide snacks for hundreds of workers at GKS!

Snow Day

We don't get very many days like this!

This is the most snow we remember getting in quite awhile...

it was hard to stay focused on school with those huge flakes falling down! 

 

Shepard's snowman is in front of his leg, but he's hard to see.

 

 We were really glad that we had bought that little plastic sled on a whim one night at Lowe's...  just in case! :)  The little hill by the pond was perfect for sledding!



Valentine's Day 2013

Valentine's Day has turned into "Fondue Night" at the Wasson house.

One of our newer traditions...  it's a lot of fun.

 

We've noticed that everytime we have a "special" meal, we tend to eat lots of whole foods!  Fruits and veggies, etc.  We should probably eat "special" meals more often!! :)

Quotes from Shepard

Two quotes from Shepard this week that make me smile...

 

We are working on learning what needs to be told and what is tattling.  After a good explanation from his Dad, Shep who has information he really wants to tell, points his finger at his mouth and says...

"The evidence is right here in my mouth!"

 

 And then when we were all practicing our scripture memory verses together at Morning Meeting and he was struggling to get the verse quoted correctly, Shep wanted more time so he looked at John and said...

"Please don't turn me off!"
